Cycling in Neukölln

Netzwerk Fahrradfreundliches Neukölln

The Tempelhofer Feld is not only an oasis of peace, but also a place of environmental education and charitable initiatives.

The active members of the Netzwerk Fahrradfreundliches Neukölln and those who want to become one meet monthly at 19:00 (Thursday before the Critical Mass). Except in May, the meeting takes place on the 23rd.

We discuss current network activities and Neukölln cycling projects on the district and by the senate and are always open to new (creative) ideas to make the district more bicycle-friendly. All those interested are cordially invited.
Come by and talk to us!

Why should I care (about Berlin)?

Creativity and freedom of self expression

Pride without prejudice, passionate and thoughtful, resilient and altruistic, careful and careless. For decades Berlin was an attraction pole for creativity and freedom of self expression. It invited people for originality, action and set daring aesthetic standards.

In history, with low housing prices the city provided space for living for musicians, artist, actors. People were called to be creative, extravagant, innovative. Today, with the rising rent prices, the city is losing its flair,
but it fights back.

An open airpot field is the place of resistance.

A city lab to shape the society fostering participation, integration, active citizenship
and social responsibility.

The Tempelhofer Feld - the Park which truly depicts the essence of Berlin

Bright streets, rivers, lakes, parks, concrete and nature. The huge amount of space and freedom is determining the spirit of the city.

As one of the world’s biggest inner-city green spaces, the Tempelhofer Feld indicates the social demands and needs of the local inhabitants with ~300 hectares for skating, kiting, biking gardening, jamming, chilling and much more in the middle of the capital city.
